PFAFF Club
Monthly meetings: Second Tuesday of the month (11 am), and third Tuesday of the month (7 pm)
Our PFAFF Club is made up of PFAFF machine owners who meet monthly for a lecture/demonstration of techniques, projects, accessories or other information in the continuation of their learning all aspects and capabilities of their incredible PFAFF sewing machines and sergers. Thimbleberries Club 2010
Vintage Garden
Thimbleberries will be offering 3 different colorways for club members to choose from this year. There is Dawn, Duck, and Midnight! The format is a Block of the Month and there will be extra quilt club projects exclusively for club members! Club members receive a monthly newsletter, bonus projects, a charm pack, special discounts at the meetings, opportunities to purchase kits for bonus projects, six club meetings, and lots of fun, friendship, and inspiration.
Meetings will be held on Friday evenings at 7 pm at the store on February 5, April 9, June 4, August 6, October 1 and Monday evening December 6.
Scrap Club
The Scrap Club meets monthly under the direction of Liz C. There are two sessions each month, the second Thursday of each month and the next morning on Friday. Liz will halp you get your stash under control, give suggestions for organization and cutting, and share lots of ideas for quick, easy scrap quilts that will feel like you've made a quilt for practically nothing in no time at all! Show & Tell is welcomed and encouraged! New session runs September through February $50.00
Batik Club
Batik Club: If you love batiks, sewing with them, quilting with them, looking at them, or just feeling them....Then this is the club for you! Every other month we meet on the first Friday evening to share knowledge and ideas, give inspiration and advice, shop, laugh, and make friends. All levels of quilters are welcome - beginner to expert! Click on the link at the left for more info on the current year's activities.
Machine Embroidery News
We have started a new newsletter for Machine Embroiderers (started March 2010). If you are not currently receiving this newsletter and would like to - either go back to the home page to sign up or call the store to be added.
Our machine embroidery group has been growing by leaps and bounds! All owners of embroidery machines are welcomed to join. However, if you do not own a Pfaff embroidery machine, you should set up an appointment with Maryanne so she can make sure both she and you are at the right level for a successful experience. The next event that embroidery machine owners are being invited to is the Hoop Sisters' Embroidablock of the Month - TNT - Textures and New Techniques. For information, click here. Sign ups for Group B begin August 9, 2010.
There will be a lecture/demo once a month for 10 months . Lecture/Demo includes all designs and instructions. $100 for the year or $12.50 per month on a credit card.
