Quilts & Treasures, Inc. started on May 3, 2005 and is owned by Valerie Morton.  The store occupies a double store front in The Shaker Shops in East Longmeadow, MA.  Quilts & Treasures, Inc. follows a long tradition of quilt shops in the current location.   The store was formerly known as Thimbleworks Sewing Machine Center.  Thimbleworks was in business from 1985-2005.  Prior to that, it was known as The Meadow Mouse and occupied the current location from approx. 1980-1985.  During the Meadow Mouse years there were four businesses sharing the space.  There was knitting, needlepoint, machines, and fabric.  Meadow Mouse was bought by Thimbleworks as well as the machine business.  As the other businesses moved or closed, Thimbleworks expanded into their space. Quilts & Treasures, Inc. continues to provide high quality fabrics, machines, classes, and service for all quilting needs.  Hope you can visit us someday!
