Valerie Morton opened Quilts & Treasures, Inc. on May 3, 2005.  The store occupies a double store front in The Shaker Shops in East Longmeadow, MA.  Quilts & Treasures, Inc. follows a long tradition of quilt shops in the current location.   Known for its friendly service and fun events, Quilts & Treasures offers 3,000+ bolts of quilt-shop-quality cotton fabrics, books, patterns, notions, threads, embroidery collections, Pfaff sewing/embroidery/quilting machines, Tutto luggage, Horn & Koala sewing machine furniture.  We offer a variety of classes to help quilters learn how to quilt and advance their skills and a variety of clubs to meet their interests.  Our commitment to the community is evident in our many events:  Quilt For A Cure Day to benefit breast cancer research, ALS quilts for the benefit of those suffering from Lou Gehrigs Disease, fundraiser for Haiti relief, and a food drive for the Open Pantry/Rachel's Table.  Our repair technician services all makes and models of home sewing machines.  We are available to vend at Guild meetings and/or speak at your event.  Bus groups are welcomed.
